Little artists get ready for a chance to have your line drawing displayed on the T-shirt for the upcoming Turkey Trot 5K race in November!

One drawing will be chosen to appear on the 2007 Family of New Paltz Turkey Trot T-shirt:

HOW TO ENTER:
Children may enter the contest at any time prior to September 29th and may make as many entires as they wish.
Please mail drawings to: Family of New Paltz, Attn: Turkey Trot, 51 N. Chestnut St., New Paltz, NY 12561.

OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS:
-Drawings may include (just some suggestions): turkeys, good deeds or helping others, the Turkey Trot race itself or why its imporatant to you and your family, how your community celebratesThanksgiving, why Thanksgiving is important to you, favorite Thanksgiving memories...
ONLY submissions that meet the following requirements will be eligible for the contest:
-Line drawings ONLY (i.e. no shading, coloring in of design, etc.)
-Use ONLY black ballpoint pen, ink or marker
-Child must be age under the age of 11
-Judging will take place during the first week of October. The guardian(s) of winning artist will be contacted by telephone.
-The artists of selected artwork for the T-shirt will receive a FREE Turkey Trot T-shirt displaying their artwork
-Drawings must be original works of art and not contain copyrighted material or characters
-Original artwork submitted for contest entry becomes the property of the Family of New Paltz Turkey Trot and cannot be returned
-All entries will be displayed for community viewing at The Mudd Puddle in the Waterstreet market during the Thanksgiving holiday.
-ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY SEPTEMBER 29TH, 2007
